OUR MISSION

The outdoors is
a living classroom.

A bird call. A track in the mud. A creek full of questions. Small discoveries can spark a lifelong connection to nature.

Wild Horizons Foundation is being formed to bring wildlife, habitat, and conservation education to school-age children. We’re developing hands-on learning experiences on privately owned land in Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Our aim is simple: help children understand the living world around them—and learn how to care for it.

WAYS TO DISCOVER

Big learning.
Open skies.

Three ways to take learning beyond the classroom. Each is being developed around exploration, observation, and care for the natural world.

PLANNED PROGRAM

School field trips

Turn classroom ideas into discoveries with guided habitat exploration, wildlife observation, and outdoor lessons.

PLANNED PROGRAM

Outdoor camps

Make room for deeper discovery, with time to explore ecology, build outdoor confidence, and practice conservation.

PLANNED PROGRAM

After-school learning

Keep curiosity growing through recurring nature lessons and projects that build knowledge one discovery at a time.

Schedules, ages, enrollment, and site details will be announced as each program is ready.

WILDLIFE & HABITAT

Learn to notice.
Learn to care.

Our educational focus connects wildlife to the places it depends on: forests, creeks, grasslands, and the habitats in our own communities.

  • 01Observe wildlife with curiosity and respect
  • 02Understand what healthy habitats provide
  • 03Explore practical ways to care for nature
LOOKING AHEAD

A future in wildlife care

We’re exploring wildlife rescue and rehabilitation as a future program. It is not currently operating. Any launch will depend on appropriate permits, qualified care, and suitable facilities.
